X-MEN: Days of Future Past

X-Men mutants are some of my most memorable and most loved band of heroic outcasts since my childhood and I will definitely not miss this year's sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past which from the puzzling trailer, seems to have all the ingredients for a sure-fire blockbuster hit.

The premise it seems is that, In the near future, The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that would result in doom for both humans and mutants.

Wolverine is going to travel back in time into the mind of his past self. Older Professor X sends him to the past while telling him: “I was a very different man. Lead me. Guide me. Be patient with me” which is particularly interesting

Here's a gorgeous poster I wish I could have for my room:

Just to get you even more excited, here’s the epic official trailer for “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which sheds even more light on the dark days ahead for our favorite mutants from the original “X-Men” trilogy films and 2011's “X-Men: First Class.”

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods. Our beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.

What would you correct from your past to save the future?

They say knowing your past can influence your future, but let's assume, hypothetically, I could actually go back to my past self, so I could fix some things in my life so I would be happy...

...well, if the purpose of fixing or changing my past is just - so I could be happy in the future...probably no - I'll just leave it alone, because I might start tinkering around, change something significant and become a bigger jerk than I already am. Plus I’m not sure I’d like to see my past again, the person I was then is so different - not necessarily in a bad way though ha ha.

But, if the purpose is to save the future (oh that's big), well there are a lots of little things I would do:
  • I would not practice voting, because all the politicians I voted for and won seems to be the cause of our suffering now.
  • I would not take that damn course in college.
  • I would have started hitchhiking on some exotic place right after college and write some kick-ass travelogue to share and tell everybody how beautiful our world is and how we are killing it.
  • And wait... I would go back to last Wednesday afternoon so I could pay my phone bill on time.

That's probably how excited I am to see this movie and that's how mind-boggling it is, so I do hope I could be one of the first in line to see X-Men Days of Future Past!!
