Philippine Rivers: Our Life, Our Nature - Save Our Rivers! Protect Our Environment!
WATCH: Featuring the rivers in Region III (Central Luzon)
Truly, our river systems are essential for life. Rivers, as a fundamental element of human survival and a dwelling place to many biodiversity, are deemed significant to keep the country’s ecological balance and sustainability. This audio-visual presentation, played during the 4th International River Summit held in Cebu on November 22 to 24, features the major river systems in Central Luzon, which largely contribute in boosting local economies and sustaining ecological balance. It likewise encourages residents and local communities to support DENR-initiated programs, such as the Adopt-A-Estero project, National Greening Program, Manila Bayanihan, and other environmental awareness campaigns.
Indeed, rivers serve as the home to great biodiversity and the cradle of our civilization.
Let us protect our river and other water bodies.
Protect our environment.
Save our rivers.

List of rivers in Region III (Central Luzon)
The following is a partial list of rivers in Region III (Central Luzon), Philippines.
Pampanga River is the second largest river on the island of Luzon in the Philippines (next to Cagayan River) and the country's fifth longest river. It is in the Central Luzon region and traverses the provinces of Pampanga, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija.
Tarlac River is a river in Central Luzon Philippines, it is the longest tributary of Agno River with a total length of 95.2 km (59.2 mi) covering a drainage area of 1,900 square kilometres (730 sq mi) traversing the provinces of Tarlac and Pangasinan. The river originates around the vicinity of Mount Pinatubo and empties itself into the Agno River at Poponto Swamp located between the boundaries of Tarlac and Pangasinan. It was formerly the site of traditional balsa or bamboo raft riding, until the river was heavily silted by sticky lahar or mud flow brought by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo on June 15, 1991, filling the river with over 10 feet (3.0 m) of lahar. Its main tributary is the O'Donnel River in Santa Lucia, Capas, Tarlac.
A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river.
