One of the major rivers in Bataan and the main river of the Talisay Watershed - the Talisay River.

It is great source of water for irrigation to farm lands and also the main drainage of Pilar town and the City of Balanga.

Talisay River is one of the major rivers in Bataan and the main river of the Talisay Watershed.

Tributaries like the Abo-abo River, Tiawir River, Pantingan River and Catmon River all drain to Talisay River. This river provides water supply for irrigation to farm lands, rice fields and fishponds.

It also serves as the main drainage of Pilar town and the City of Balanga that is approximately 13 kilometers from the upstream in Barangay Liyang, Pilar.

It stretches eastward and eventually drains to Manila Bay in Barangays Tortugas and Puerto Rivas Ibaba in the City of Balanga.
