Air France KLM advisory - New Crew Change protocols from Autoridad Maritima de Panama for arrivals in PTY

We wish to make you aware of the new protocols applicable for Seafarers arriving in Panama, as outlined by the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP).

 

Inbound flight to PTY

 

· Any passenger with final destination PTY and with permit entrance as seafarer obtained from the Panamanian Maritime Authorities need to have with them their seamen book otherwise entrance will be denied.

· As from 12th October anyone arriving in PTY without a negative PCR will be asked to do a "rapid test" at the airport, the cost of the test needs to be covered by the passenger. If the test is positive the passenger will be required to isolate on a "hospital hotel" designated  by the Ministry of Health. After 7 days a second PCR test will be done, and if positive, the passenger will be required to isolate for another 7 days.

· The maximum transit time in PTY is 6 hours. Longer transit time is no longer allowed.

Flights to/from PTY are available and open for sale in GDS.

 

All passengers travelling via AMS must complete the Netherlands Health Declaration.

 

All seamen must comply with the requirements of the applicable Crew Change instructions in order to obtain approval of the Authorities.
