Bureau of Immigration Online Appointment System (BIOAS) Guidelines
With the B.I. Online Appointment System, transacting clients are now encouraged to book an appointment online using any devices such as laptops, desktop computers, mobile phones and tablets in the safety of their homes.

Effective November 5, 2020, Liaison Officers/Legal Representatives are exempted from using the Online Appointment System.
Embassy personnel and persons endorsed by foreign embassies are exempted from using the online appointment system. They are however only be accommodated from 2:00 PM onward.

Having trouble using the BI Online Appointment System?
- No reference number/appointment code*, no valid ID, no entry. Bring all the requirements on the scheduled appointment to avoid inconvenience.
- Only clients with appointment code shall be accommodated during the specified time and date of their appointment.
- Clients must present any government issued or valid identification card along with the appointment code.
- Pursuant to IATF guidelines, any person below the age of 21 and those who are aged 60 and above, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, and pregnant women, including any person who resides with the aforementioned, shall be required to remain in their residences at all times – for those abovementioned, they may opt to send a qualified representative with notarized special power of attorney (SPA).
- For biometrics capturing, the physical presence of clients is required. There is a courtesy lane for PWDs, pregnant women, senior citizens, and those with special needs.
- Clients may avail of the services of BI-accredited private entities
In observance of the social distancing policy, and towards our aim to minimize any unnecessary physical contact that could result in the further spread of COVID-19, the Bureau encourages all clients to course all their concerns and inquiries through our telephone numbers and online platforms.

In compliance to the health safety protocols in place against the current pandemic, slots for the online appointment have been limited further and will only allow booking for up to 3 working days in advance of the current day. New slots are automatically opened on the next available working day every Monday to Friday at 12:00 AM.
BI will be unable to attend to queries pertaining to availability of slots.
For urgent matters, we recommend availing the services of our accredited agencies or other BI offices open for walk-in transactions.

Immigration starts online appointment system
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) launched Monday its online appointment system for clients at the main office in Intramuros, Manila following the government’s decision to place Metro Manila and other areas of the country under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
